Testimonials
I wanted to pass all my greetings to you! My name is Victoria and I had many sessions at your office from February through April of this year, addressing some problems in my neck. I have been living in China for sometime now and am living life to the fullest, able to exercise normally and enjoy all of life here.
Thank you so much for all your help!

As part of our Wellness Services, Riviera Sports also offers massage therapy for our clients seeking rest and relaxation from stress, injuries and pain. We deliver massage therapy in a medically supervised setting, with physical therapists on-hand to ensure you have the best experience possible, particularly if there is an injury related to the treatment.
The following are the massage therapy techniques offered by Riviera Sports: |
SWEDISH
Swedish massage therapy is used to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
DEEP TISSUE
Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is used to release chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
SPORTS MASSAGE
Sports massage therapy is geared toward athletes of every kind, from world-class professionals to weekend joggers. The particulars of the massage techniques are specific to the athlete's sport of choice. The sports massage focuses on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movements.
For anyone participating in regular physical activity, Sports massage therapy every week or two may be a great addition to your normal regimen. One of the key benefits of Sports massage therapy compared to other modalities is its ability to target muscle-tendon junctions.
MFR (Myofascial Release)
Myofascial Release is a safe and effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue to eliminate pain and restore motion. Myofascial therapy helps anyone old to young, active or inactive, be they in pain and suffering from disease (e.g. MS, fibromyalgia), for anyone who has had physical trauma or who has gone through surgery or for someone who justs want to achieve optimal body performance-such as with athletes.
